Once approved, you’ll have full access to the site, including filling out your profile, using the Share Economy, holding or attending Events and connecting with other Members through Groups and Forums. This could take between 2-5 days, so in the meanwhile take a look around, have a think about what you’d like to share with other Members and help grow our community by inviting some friends and family to join. Share Economy
Our Share Economy section includes:
- About Share Economy: info about what a Share Economy is and how ours works
- View Skills: a place to view all the Skills that Members are sharing
- View Services: a place to view all the services that members are sharing
- View Stuff: a place to view all the stuff that members are sharing
- View Needs: a place to view all the needs that members may have
- Add a Listing: a form to fill out for each thing you would like to share
Once your membership is approved, you'll be able to:
- View all of the above pages
- Click on and view individual listings
- Submit listings to the Share Economy
To ensure the safety and privacy of our Members, non-Members have restricted access to some areas of the platform. Non-members:
- Can view the About page
- Can view the listings pages, but not click on or view individual listings
- Cannot submit listings
Events
Our Events section includes:
- About Events: a page of info about the types of Events we and our Members hold
- View Events: a calendar or list to view and register for Events
- Submit an Event: a form to fill out if you would like to host an Event
Once your membership is approved, you'll be able to:
- View all of the above pages
- Register for free for all Events
- View the Submit Events page and fill out the form if you have a idea for an Event
To ensure the safety and privacy of our Members, non-members have restricted access to some areas of the platform. Non-members:
- Can view the About Events page
- Can view our calendar of Events
- Can register for some, but not all, Events
- Cannot submit or host an Event
Members
Our Members section includes:
- Become a Member: info on the benefits of becoming a Member and how to become one
- View Members: a place to view and connect with other Members
- Members Activity: a place to keep up to date with all activity across the site
Once your membership is approved, you'll be able to:
- View all of the above pages
- View Members profiles, connect with and message other Members
- View and add to the main feed on the Activity page
To ensure the safety and privacy of our Members, non-members have restricted access to some areas of the platform. Non-members:
- Can view the Become a Member page
- Can fill out the form to become a Member
- Cannot view Member profiles, message anyone or view the activity feed
Connect
Our Connect section includes:
- About Connecting: info about the various ways you can Connect with other Members
- View Groups: a place to view and join Groups
- View Forums: a place to view and join conversations with other Members
- Submit Group: a form to fill out if you would like to start a Group
Once your membership is approved, you'll be able to:
- View all of the above pages
- View and join any Group of your choice
- View, join in or start a conversation in the Forums area
- Submit a form to start a Group
- Help manage or moderate a Group
To ensure the safety and privacy of our Members, non-members have restricted access to some areas of the platform. Non-members:
- Can view the About page
- Can view the various Groups but cannot view the individual Group pages
- Cannot view any of the conversations in the Forums area
- Cannot submit, moderate or manage a Group
Info Hub
Our Info Hub section includes:
- About Info Hub: info about how we gather and group the resources that are shared
- View Info Hub: a place to view all of our resources, based on categories and sub-categories
- Submit Info: a form to fill out if you would like to add some info to the hub
Once your membership is approved, you'll be able to:
- View all of the above pages
- View and comment on individual info pages
- Submit info to be added to the hub
To ensure the safety and privacy of our members, non-Members have restricted access to some areas of the platform. Non-members:
- Can view the About page
- Can view all of the individual info pages, but cannot leave comments
- Cannot submit info to the hub
