A Small Idea
It all started with the idea of transforming a three storey warehouse in Summer Hill into a green building, community hub & ethical business precinct.
Collaboration at its Best
After talking to the building owner & deciding to collaborate we became a registered not-for-profit & co-operative, so that we could turn that idea into a reality.
The Power of Community
We started with five co-founders which quickly grew to a dynamic team of around 35 volunteers. Over 10,000 hours have been invested so far.
A Digital Platform
With delays to opening the building, due to the pandemic, we decided to build an online space which mirrored everything that was to happen in the building.
Opening the Building
We aim to open the building towards the end of 2022. Meanwhile, we will be finding tenants, getting renovations done & continue connecting with our community.

Our website is jam-packed with amazing features, so you may not know quite where to begin! Below is some more info about the various sections displayed on our navigation menu and how much access you will have as a member or non-member to each area. There’s no right or wrong place to start, just click on whatever jumps out to you and sparks your curiosity. To have full access to the entire site and all the benefits that go with it, you can become a member today.
Share Economy

- View Needs: a place to view all the needs that members may have
- Submit Listing: a form to fill out for each thing you would like to share

- Submit an Event: a form to fill out if you would like to host an event

- Register for free for all events
- View the Submit Events page and fill out the form if you have a idea for an event
If you are a non-member you:Â
- Can view the About Events page
- Can view our calendar of events
- Can register for some, but not all, events (community events are free but some events will have a ticket price)
- Cannot submit or host an event

- View Members: a place to view and connect with other members
- Members Activity: a place to keep up to date with all activity across the site
